Bayshore Technology

Welcome to Bayshore High School’s Technology homepage!  Our technology team consists of administrators, paraprofessionals, and teachers who are dedicated to enriching our student’s learning through the use of technology.  Continue reading for more information about our program.  Or, click on the links above and look around.  We’re proud of our implementation and hope our program will serve as a resource for your school.

Bayshore maintains its technology initiative through the efforts of a healthy technology committee.  Spearheaded by Jeannie Galindo (Assistant Principal), Faye Charnell (School-Based IT Specialist), and Kathy Sharp (District IT Secialist) the tech team relies on teachers for program input, training, and implementation.

Teachers who want to incorporate technology in the lessons simply fill out a questionnaire.  Their answers are evaluated using a Cart Rubric.pdf and a cart is assigned.  Training is provided by experienced teachers and students reap the rewards.

Because our computers work all the time, no further support is necessary.  Just kidding!  When teachers encounter problems, we have plenty of help available.  From expert tech team members to our “Tech Tickets,” teachers are never alone.  Procedures created by careful forethought and practical experience help keep our machines in working order.
