Resource Description
TumbleBooks has three resources.  The TumbleBook Library is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format kids will love.  The Tumble Readables is an online collection of read-along titles for elementary, middle and high school. These books feature adjustable online text and complete narration. Sentences are highlighted as they are read. Tumble Talking books are an online collection of streaming audio books. The login anc password can be shared with all parents.
Discovery Education offers a standards-based, online digital video and clip art gallery. Many are accompanied by teacher guides and blackline masters. Producers include Discovery Channel School, United Learning, Standard Deviants, Weston Woods.
AtomicLearning provides online tutorials covering most popular applications. From setting a margin in MicroSoft Word to using Final Cut Pro and PowerPoint, these short film clips illustrate "how tos" for Windows and Mac users. It also has a section on Curriculum Tools.
NetTrekker provides access to online resources that have been pre-selected and rated by educators. All sites are aligned to state standards and ranked according to lexile reading level and has a dictionary feature that makes every word in a website a link to a dictionary.
TeachingBooks offers access to original, in-studio movies of authors and illustrators, audio excerpts of professional book readings, guides to thousands of titles and a wealth of multimedia resources on children's and young adult literature.
