Objectives- Students will research for Lighthouse information using internet sites for research.
- Students will learn to identify captions that contain important information based on their research.
- Students will learn to design a page on a presentation program by copying a picture, placing text into the page, and,using transitions to an bring text into their page. They will finalize their project by combining their slide by combining it with the others student s pages to make one large slideshow They will get permission to use pictures and follow copy write rules.
- Students will create a physical model of their project by using recycled objects from their homes by using recycled objects from their homes
Procedure- The students will first research on internet to choose a lighthouse. They will learn how to find specific information that is important to defining the project. After obtaining the information needed they will write to person who originally photographed the Lighthouse photograph to obtain permission to use the picture on their web site. The last step will be to put all their information on a slide and then join their slide with presentstions other students in the room to make a complete presentation
