Our SkillsUSA Bayshore High School's Chapter began the year by attending the county CTSO Leadership Rally at Bradenton River High Schooo. We were awarded the spirit stick that we will hold until next year.
During Regional Competition we competed in Broadcast News with two teams, Television Production with three teams, Opening and Closing Ceremonies with a team of seven, Chapter Display, and Job Interviewing. Our chapter placed 2nd in Chapter Display and 2nd in Job Interviewing. We placed second in OCC.
In November, we attended State Leadership Training Workshop in Haines City Florida. All but two of our attendees earned their Statesmanship Award. The students never studied to hard in all thier life.

In March, we competed at State Competition in Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Outstanding Chapter. We placed 2nd in Outstanding Chapter.
The next excitment came in May when we were informed that the 1st Place winners in "Outstanding Chapter" were not able to attend National Convention in Kansas City, MO. Nationals is held the last week in June in Kansas City.
In Kansas City, we won 10th place in the Nation for "Outstnating Chapter!"
